Abstract Wooden Sculpture 'Untitled' by Ronald Pope (1920-1997)

Abstract wooden sculpture by Gloucestershire born sculptor, painter and teacher, Ronald Pope (1920 - 1997). A prize winning stone carver, Pope lectured at the University of Nottingham and engaged in a number of architectural commissions in the Midlands including a figure of St Catherine for Basil Spence and a large abstract work for Cathedral of All Saints, Derby. A number of his other works can been seen in Watford Museum.
