Kazuki Chair by Kazuhide Takahama, Gavina, c.1970

A Kazuki chair designed by Kazuhide Takahama and produced by Gavina in the 1970s.

Japanese architect and designer Kazuhide Takahama emigrated from Japan to Italy in the 1950s. In collaboration with Dino Gavina he was the first to exploit the ancient traditional Japanese techniques of lacquered furniture within the modern manufacturing process.
