A very good Model 1014 coffee table designed by German artist Heinz Lilienthal (1927-2006).

Composed from a circular table top cut from fossilized stone and supported on a dark wooden base of cross form.

Heinz Lilienthal was German glass painter, furniture designer and decorator. As a glass painter he played a major role in German church building in the post-war years having studied at the Staatliche Kunstschule in Bremen.

Condition: The stone is in excellent condition with no chips. There are superficial imperfections to the wooden base.
