An abstract, reclining nude in Nero Marquina marble by German Sculptor Pierre Schumann (1917 - 2011). Signed Schumann.
Schumann trained at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg and the Stuttgart Academy after which he worked as a freelance artist in Hamburg and had a studio in Carrara, where he preferred to work with marble to create sculptures and reliefs.
