Tambour Screen in White Pine by Tom Roberts

£4,500

A sculptural tambour screen by Tom Bogle founder Tom Roberts.

The  tambour screen occupies a space between functional object and art, defined by attention to form, material, and movement that invites visual contemplation and spatial engagement.

Each screen is crafted from stained and waxed pine that allows the grain of the wood to remain gently visible beneath an off-white, matte finish the tone of which responds subtly to changing light.

When fully extended, the screen adopts a stepped, architectural silhouette while its articulation allows for a range of sculptural configurations, including a compact cylindrical form that facilitates storage or transport.

Handmade to order in England, each screen measures approximately 200 cm in height and 235 cm in width when fully extended. Every piece is bespoke; custom dimensions and finishes are available upon request, offering the opportunity to align the work precisely with its intended setting.

This is a limited edition piece, with lead times of 6–12 weeks.
